Ahmedabad, Feb. 11 -- Gautam Adani is set to donate over Rs 6,000 crore to establish two Adani Health Cities (AHCs) in Ahmedabad and Mumbai through the group's not-for-profit healthcare arm.

These integrated campuses will feature 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospitals, medical colleges, and research facilities in partnership with US-based Mayo Clinic, known for its expertise in healthcare, education, and research.

The donation is part of the Rs 60,000 crore pledge made by the Adani family on Gautam Adani's 60th birthday.

The initiative aims to expand beyond these two cities, with plans for similar AHCs in multiple locations across India.
