Washington DC/IBNS, Dec. 27 -- White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has announced that she is expecting her second child, a baby girl, due in May 2026.

Leavitt, 28, who is married to real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, shared the news on social media. The couple already have a son.

Announcing her pregnancy, Leavitt said she and her husband were "thrilled to grow our family" and were looking forward to seeing their son become a big brother.

Leavitt also thanked President Donald Trump and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their support, saying the administration fosters a "pro-family environment."
