India, July 18 -- Indian grandmaster Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa continued his strong run in 2025 and registered a landmark victory against world number one Magnus Carlsen during the Freestyle Grand Slam chess event in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The Indian chess star played with the white pieces and dominated the show against the senior opponent in the clash.

Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa took an outright lead in the group in the tournament.

The Indian teen dismantled the Norwegian great in just 39 moves.

His win against the senior further established the position in the global chess paradigm.
