Kolkata/IBNS, June 24 -- Four people have been arrested in connection with the bomb blast that killed a minor girl during vote counting of Kaliganj byelections.

The four accused are Adar Sk, Manowar Sk, Kalu Sk and Anwar Sk.

As per reports, Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters celebrated the party's win in the by-elections by throwing a crude bomb at a CPI-M supporter's house.

One of the bombs exploded near nine-year-old girl Tamanna Khatun. She died of her injuries.

Reacting to the incident, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked police to take "action" against the culprits.

TMC's Alifa Ahmed defeated BJP's Ashish Ghosh by around 50,000 votes in the Kaliganj byelection.

The voting took place on June 19.
