India, Feb. 5 -- The United States topped the list of the world's most powerful nations compiled by Forbes which also featured China in the second position.
Israel, which has been engaged in a war against the Hamas group for more than a year now, is ranked tenth on the list.
Forbes said its list was created by keeping in mind several important parameters that include leadership, economic influence, political influence, strong international alliances, and military strength.
India, the world's most populated nation which is also the fifth largest economy, however, missed the top 10 spot.
However, India ranked above Australia and Canada.
