India, Aug. 16 -- The severe rain and resultant flash flood in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have left 324 people dead, with the majority of the deaths reported from Buner, media reports said.
As per the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) report, 204 people have died in Buner in the past 48 hours.
It added that 120 people were injured, while Deputy Commissioner Kashif Qayum Khan's office reported that 50 were still missing, reported Dawn News.
The PDMA report showed 11 houses were destroyed while 63 were partially damaged due to the floods.
According to reports, two schools were also hit in Shangla and Swat.
