New Delhi, April 11 -- The first cohort of 40 "Purple officers" of the Indian armed forces-trained with a focus on joint operations across the Army, Navy, and Air Force-completed their course at the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington, Tamil Nadu, on Thursday.
Their participation was intended to enrich the learning experience by offering insights and best practices from integrated systems already in place abroad.
These 40 officers underwent specialised training that covered various aspects of tri-service functioning.
They also received briefings on joint operations involving logistics, intelligence, and cybersecurity.
