Kolkata, Jan. 14 -- An FIR has been lodged against Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh over his recent remark made against anti-CAA protesters.

The FIR was lodged on a complaint by TMC leader Krishnendu Banerjee at Ranaghat Police station, News 18 reported.

On Sunday, addressing a public rally in Nadia district of West Bengal, Ghosh had criticised Mamata Banerjee government "for not opening fire and ordering a lathi-charge" and said BJP governments in Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Karnataka shot the CAA NRC protesters like dogs."Mamata Banerjee has no guts to take action against those who had resorted to arson.
