India, April 27 -- FBI director Kash Patel on Saturday said the US will provide full support to the Indian government in the fight against terrorism, days after 26 tourists, mostly non-Muslims, died in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

Patel also condemned the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that has drawn worldwide condemnation.

Condemning the incident, Patel wrote on X: "The FBI sends our condolences to all the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir - and will continue offering our full support to the Indian government."
