Lucknow/IBNS, July 17 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday raided 14 premises linked to Jalaluddin Shah alias Chhangur Baba, who is accused of leading a religious conversion racket in Uttar Pradesh's Balrampur, media reports said.
Large quantities of land documents, luxury vehicles, gold and unaccounted cash have been recovered by the raids, Hindustan Times reported.
The probe agency also raided the premises of one Shahzad Sheikh on whose bank account Rs. 1 crore was transferred from Chhangur Baba's account.
The probe officers suspect foreign funding in Chhagur Baba's racket as the ED found evidence of money inflow from Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Nepal.
