India, Aug. 15 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday delivered the ceremonial address on the eve of Independence Day, during which she called upon every citizen to contribute towards nation-building.

From the virtues of Indian democracy to the nation overcoming challenges of terrorism this year with decisive responses like Operation Sindoor, she touched on various crucial topics.

She said employment opportunities are booming.

"For those with entrepreneurial aspirations, the Government has created the most conducive ecosystem," the resident said.

The "ease of doing business", she said was as important as ease of living to improve the life of the common man.
