New Delhi, May 11 -- Hours after India and Pakistan announced a ceasefire agreement, swarms of drones targeted several Indian cities in the bordering regions, including Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Gujarat.
Residents of Jammu and Kashmir's capital, Srinagar, were rattled late Saturday night by loud explosions.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah took to X to report the ceasefire violation.
According to media reports, four explosions were heard in Rajasthan's bordering district of Jaisalmer as Pakistan breached the ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked shelling near the Line of Control and the International Border.
