India, Sept. 30 -- US President Donald Trump has given Hamas three to four days to respond to his 20-point peace proposal for Gaza, warning of severe consequences if the militant group rejects the deal.
The plan, unveiled on Sunday, calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages by Hamas within 72 hours, disarmament of the group, and a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
"All of the Arab countries are signed up. The Muslim countries are signed up. Israel is signed up. We're just waiting for Hamas," Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday. "If it's not accepted, it's going to be a very sad end."
