Kolkata/IBNS, March 19 -- The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Tuesday warned its fiery party MLA Humayun Kabir asking him not to speak against any religion in view of the leader's controversial remark against Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari.

In response to Adhikari's "will throw out Muslim MLAs" remark, Kabir threatened to thrash the LoP if he didn't withdraw his remarks.

Warning Kabir, the TMC's disciplinary committee has asked him to follow the party line and refrain from targeting any religion.
