Bengaluru/IBNS, Feb. 27 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has irked his party Congress and raised eyebrows of many visiting the Isha Foundation of spiritual leader Sadhguru.

Shivakumar, a Congress strongman, posted a number of pictures on X with Sadhguru from the nightlong festival, which was held on the occasion of Maha Shivratri with musical performances and meditation.

The Congress leader also reportedly shared the dias with Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) BJP top leader Amit Shah at the event.

Congress leaders have criticised Shivakumar for attending Sadhguru, whom the party claims to be aligning with BJP's ideological parent Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
