India, June 25 -- Indian singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has become a part of the syllabus in a Canadian university, media reports said.
A course dedicated to the Punjabi artiste has been introduced to the curriculum of Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).
The course, which will be formally launched in late 2026, will focus on Diljit, his growing relevance and global impact.
This comes amid a backlash Diljit is facing in India over the featuring of Pakistani Hania Aamir in his upcoming film, Sardaar Ji 3 where he participated in the capacities of both actor and producer.
