Mumbai/IBNS, Nov. 28 -- In a setback for director Aditya Dhar's upcoming film Dhurandhar, the parents of Late Major Mohit Sharma have approached the Delhi High Court seeking an immediate stay on the release of the Ranveer Singh-starrer, media reports said.

The family, in its petition, alleged that the makers did not seek permission from them or the Indian Army before depicting elements related to the Late Major's personal life, undercover missions and martyrdom.

They argued that the film appears to mirror key events from the officer's career and counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir.
