Mumbai/IBNS, Nov. 12 -- Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was on Wednesday discharged from the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, media reports said.

The 89-year-old was discharged at 7:30 am.

Dharmendra's family decided to take him home for treatment.

On Tuesday, Dharmendra's actress wife Hema Malini blasted several media reports over fake news of her husband's demise.

Born in December 1935, Dharmendra will turn 90 on December 8, 2025. Known fondly as the 'He-Man of Bollywood,' he has been one of Indian cinema's most celebrated stars for over six decades, with memorable performances in films such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Phool Aur Patthar, and Satyakam.
