New Delhi/IBNS, Jan. 29 -- The Delhi High Court on Thursday rejected Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Sameer Wankhede's defamation suit against a Netflix series allegedly inspired by the Aryan Khan case, citing lack of jurisdiction, media reports said.

Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav returned the plaint, granting Wankhede liberty to approach the appropriate court.

Wankhede had sought damages of Rs.2 crore, stating that the amount would be donated to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for cancer treatment. He had also sought a permanent and mandatory injunction against the series titled The Ba**ds of Bollywood.
