India, Aug. 5 -- Delhi Zoo is expected to attract more footfall after six Bengal Tiger cubs were born on Monday morning, the largest litter born at the facility in two decades.
The birth of the cubs occurred at an eventful time when the zoo was observing seven-day Global Tiger Day celebrations.
Speaking on the birth of the cubs, the Indian government said in a statement: "In another wonderful news, the National Zoological Park also welcomed the birth of six tiger cubs during the week-long celebrations. The cubs were born to wild origin tigress 'Aditi' and male 'Vijay Junior'."
