India, July 21 -- Indian PM Narendra Modi on Monday expressed his sadness over the death of several people in a Bangladesh training jet crash in Dhaka city and extended all possible assistance to the neighbouring nation.
"Deeply shocked and saddened at the loss of lives, many of them young students, in a tragic air crash in Dhaka. Our hearts go out to the bereaved families. We pray for the swift recovery of those injured. India stands in solidarity with Bangladesh and is ready to extend all possible support and assistance," he wrote on X.
At least 19 people, including students, died after a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed into Milestone School and College in the country's capital, Dhaka, on Monday.
