Mumbai/IBNS, Sept. 18 -- Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone won't be a part of the Kalki 2898 sequel, the makers announced on Thursday with a cryptic remark on "commitment".

Vyjayanthi Movies announced the production house and Deepika have parted ways as they were "unable to find a partnership".

Apart from Deepika, Kalki 2898 AD featured legend Amitabh Bachchan, superstar Prabhas, veteran actor Kamal Haasan in the lead.
