India, Dec. 30 -- A 40-year-old Hindu man was shot dead inside a garment factory in Bangladesh, marking the third killing of a member of the community amid recent violence in the country.
The incident occurred around 7:00 pm at Sultana Sweaters Limited, a subsidiary of Labib Group, located in the Mehrabari area of Bhaluka, Mymensingh, according to the Bangladeshi news portal Khaborwala.
The deceased has been identified as Bajendra Biswas.
Local police have apprehended the shooter, identified as Noman Mia, who reportedly fired the weapon accidentally.
