India, March 1 -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday said his nation will need the support of President Donald Trump, a day after he was engaged in a heated debate with him during their meeting in the White House.

Zelenskyy said that despite Friday's fiery exchange, Ukraine and the USA remain 'strategic partners.

He acknowledged that America's help was vital for Ukraine to survive during the ongoing fight against Russia, which began in 2022.
