Covid-19 death rate declining in Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi, July 6 -- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said the deaths due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic were declining, urging people in the national capital not to panic over the surge in infections.
India has surpassed Russia to become the third worst Covid-affected country in the world, according to Johns Hopkins University & Medicine, by adding over 24,000 cases in 24 hours between Sunday and Monday mornings.India is now behind the United States (28,88,635) and Brazil (16,03,055).With 425 new fatalities, the Covid toll touched 19,693.4,24,433 of 6,97,413 have recovered so far from the contagion.Image Credit: AAP Twitter
