Kolkata/IBNS, June 23 -- Four Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs including chief whip Shankar Ghosh were on Monday suspended by West Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Bandyopadhyay after the opposition lawmakers staged a protest near the well of the house, media reports said.
The chaos broke out after Ghosh was allegedly denied to speak in the House.
The BJP MLAs started protesting near the well, flung papers on the air.
Speaker Biman Bandyopadhyay suspended the four BJP MLAs based on a motion passed by minister Aroop Biswas.
The Speaker had called Marshal to evict the suspended lawmakers and it was then a scuffle broke out.
