India, Dec. 24 -- A man was killed on Wednesday evening after assailants hurled a crude explosive from a flyover in the Mogbazar area of Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, media reports said.
The blast occurred beneath the flyover in front of the Moghbazar Freedom Fighters' Memorial, a busy location frequented by pedestrians and commuters.
Relatives later identified the deceased as Siam, who worked at a private factory and happened to be in the area at the time.
His identity was initially unknown, but it was confirmed after family members arrived at the scene. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after the explosion.
