Dubai/IBNS, Feb. 17 -- India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was hit on his left knee during the team's practice session causing injury scare just a few days ahead of the men-in-blue's inaugural match against Bangladesh in Champions Trophy 2025.

Pant was hit during drills at ICC Academy in Dubai on Sunday.

He was down on the ground when a whack by his teammate Hardik Pandya hit him on left knee.

The medical team immediately rushed to his aid and he slowly recovered thereafter.

The two-time Champions Trophy winner will face Bangladesh in their first match on February 20 and then proceed to take on arch-rival Pakistan on February 23.
