India, Feb. 22 -- Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly feels India is one of the favourite teams to win the ongoing Champions Trophy.

He said India has dominated Pakistan on the cricket field for the past 25 years.

"India is the favourite for this tournament," he said.

Ganguly made the comments at a time when India is gearing up to play Pakistan in a Champions Trophy group-stage clash on Sunday.

The two arch-rivals last played against each other in the T20 World last year.

India defeated Pakistan in a high-voltage match in New York.

Meanwhile, India began their Champions Trophy hunt by beating Bangladesh in the first group-stage clash.
