India, Nov. 11 -- A CCTV video has emerged showing the suspect driving the Hyundai i20 car, which exploded near the iconic Red Fort on Monday, leaving at least eight people dead.

According to media reports, the footage showed suspected terrorist Dr. Mohammad Umar, who was at large.

Sources told India Today that Mohammad Umar was in the car and is believed to have planned the attack along with two of his associates.

The news channel reported that Umar, along with his accomplices, placed a detonator in the car and executed the terror act.

Investigators confirmed to the news channel that Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil was used in the explosion that occurred at a time when a large number of people were present at the spot.
