Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 29 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday reached Kolkata Deputy Mayor Atin Ghosh's residence for questioning in connection with the alleged corruption in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, media reports said.

The CBI officers reached the senior Trinamool Congress leader's North Kolkata residence along with the central force.

The 31-year-old post-graduate trainee doctor was brutally raped and murdered on the intervening night of August 8 and 9, 2024 at a seminar room while she was on duty.
