New Delhi/IBNS, Feb. 25 -- Triggering a fierce faceoff between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the report of Controller and Auditor General (CAG) was tabled in the Delhi assembly with the ruling party bringing corruption charges against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The CAG report over the alleged liquor policy scam has been placed in the assembly.
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia were among the AAP leaders who were arrested in the liquor policy scam case.
The other CAG report on Kejriwal's refurbishment of the CM's residence Sheesh Mahal is yet to be placed.
Kejriwal has been accused of spending an exorbitant money to refurbish the CM's residence during his tenure...
