New Delhi, March 19 -- The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Revised Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM) to drive growth in the livestock sector with an additional allocation of Rs.1,000 crore, increasing the total outlay to Rs.3,400 crore.
The scheme will be implemented as a Central Sector component under the Development Programmes scheme during the 15th Finance Commission cycle (2021-22 to 2025-26).
