New Delhi/IBNS, Jan. 31 -- Prime minister Narendra Modi on Friday said his government's first full budget since coming to power for the third term will "create new confidence" and provide "energy for Viksit Bharat".
Modi said this as the budget session of parliament started on Friday.
Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget on February 1.
The Modi government returned to power with a depleting number of seats in 2024 for the third uninterrupted term, a feat which was only achieved by the country's first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
