Border Security Forces intercept drone and heroin in Punjab's border villages
India, Feb. 13 -- In a series of proactive measures, the Border Security Force (BSF) and local police in Punjab have intercepted illicit activities along the international border, seizing both a drone and a significant quantity of heroin in separate incidents near border villages.
The first incident unfolded near Chann Kalan village in the Amritsar sector when BSF personnel intercepted the movement of a suspicious drone on February 10. Acting swiftly, the BSF's Quick Response Team (QRT) tracked the drone's movement and subsequently discovered it in a partially damaged condition in an agricultural field near the village.
