Mumbai/IBNS, Nov. 24 -- Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away at his Mumbai home on Monday at the age of 89, marking an end of an era in the Indian film industry.
Dharmendra died 12 days after being discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, where he was admitted for breathlessness. He was due to turn 90 on December 8.
Several Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan, visited the crematorium to pay their last respects.
Known fondly as the 'He-Man of Bollywood,' Dharmendra had been one of Indian cinema's most celebrated stars for over six decades, delivering memorable performances in films such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Phool Aur Patthar, and Satyakam.
