India, March 16 -- The Balochistan Liberation Army, the group which was responsible for the hijacking of a passenger train last week, claimed 90 Pakistani soldiers died after a blast occurred close to a convoy in which the security personnel were travelling in Balochistan's Noshki district on Sunday.
However, Pakistani officials claimed five security personnel died and 12 others were injured in the attack that occurred on the national highway.
According to Noshki Station House Officer (SHO) Zafarullah Sumalani, initial investigations suggest the incident was a suicide attack, as reported Dawn News.
