Kolkata/IBNS, Feb. 27 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won in the Maharashtra and Delhi assembly elections through electoral malpractices but the similar trick would be befittingly countered in her own state which goes to polls next year.
Mamata made the remark while addressing her party workers at Kolkata's Netaji Indoor Stadium on Thursday.
Mamata has accused the BJP of including fake voters from other states- mostly from Haryana- in the voter list in the run up to the 2026 assembly elections in West Bengal.
