Kolkata/IBNS, March 12 -- West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has courted row by stating the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will throw all elected Muslim MLAs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) out of the legislative assembly after the saffron party wins the 2026 state elections.
Adhikari made the remark on Tuesday while calling the TMC government- led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee- "communal".
"This government and its police are communal. It's Muslim League 2. The Hindus of Bengal will uproot this government," he said.
