Guwahati, Nov. 30 -- Keeping in view of the assembly poll in Assam which is scheduled in 2021, the Assam state BJP is making strategy to get support from the indigenous Muslim people in the state.

There are around 30 lakh of indigenous Muslims, Assamese Sikh, Buddhist voters in the state and the BJP-led Assam government has announced various schemes worth over Rs 100 crore by aiming to get supports from these people.

The Assam government has also announced to form few development councils for Goria, Moria, Jolha community of indigenous Muslims.
