Bihar/IBNS, Oct. 20 -- Amid the seat-sharing tussle within the Mahagathbandhan, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Monday announced the list of 143 candidates for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
The list was announced on the last day of the nomination for the second phase of elections.
Apart from Tejashwi, other important nominations include Chandra Shekhar from Madhepura, Veena Devi from Mokama, Uday Narayan Chaudhary from Jhajha.
Congress, the largest opposition party in the country but a second fiddle in Mahagathbandhan, has announced its second list of candidates.
With the announcement of six new candidates, the total number of Congress candidates now stands at 60.
