India, Oct. 14 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday unveiled the names of 71 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.

A surprise exclusion is seasoned leader and Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishor Yadav who is the sitting MLA from Patna Sahib, reported UNI.

The Bihar assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14.

The party is expected to release more lists in the coming days.
