Kolkata/IBNS, Nov. 15 -- Indian cricket captain Shubman Gill was on Saturday retired hurt in the first innings of the inaugural Test against South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The Indian skipper walked out to bat after allrounder Washington Sundar departed handing over a catch in the slip.
Sundar was dismissed by Sumon Harmer for 29 runs.
India bowled out South Africa for 159 on Friday.
