India, Feb. 21 -- India's Ministry of Steel has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Brazil's Ministry of Mines and Energy to strengthen cooperation in mining and minerals critical to the steel sector.
The agreement was exchanged in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
The MoU establishes an institutional framework to deepen bilateral collaboration across the steel value chain, with a focus on ensuring reliable and sustainable access to key raw materials required for steel production.
