India, Dec. 24 -- Private airline major IndiGo on Wednesday announced the launch of new direct flights between Delhi and London (Heathrow), effective February 2.
The airline will operate the route five times a week using Boeing 787 aircraft taken on a wet/damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways. The flights will feature a dual-class configuration, offering IndiGoStretch and Economy Class.
IndiGo currently operates daily direct flights between Mumbai and London Heathrow. With the addition of the Delhi-London service, the airline will now operate a total of 12 weekly flights to London.
