Bengaluru/IBNS, June 23 -- A woman was sexually harassed, beaten up, and abused in full public view near Bengaluru on Sunday, and the incident was caught on a CCTV camera.

According to reports, the woman was on her way to buy groceries around 4 pm in Renuka Yellamma Layout near Mailasandra when a group of men blocked her way.

When she tried to resist the harassment and defend herself, the men reportedly thrashed her.

In the clip, she was seen trying to fight back.

Locals and one of her friends later rescued the woman. However, the friend has been arrested for beating up one of the men who harassed her.
