Bengaluru/IBNS, June 5 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar broke town to tears as he narrated an incident where the mother of a man who died in the stampede outside Chinnaswamy Stadium asked for her son's body without a postmortem.
Shivakumar on Wednesday apologised after the fatal stampede broke out outside the cricket stadium where celebrations of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's maiden title win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) were in full swing.
