Bengaluru, March 10 -- Karnataka's capital city, Bengaluru, is all set to have its much-awaited Yellow Line Metro, connecting RV Road to Bommasandra and passing through the tech hub of Electronics City, operational by May 2025, Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister DK Shivakumar said on March 4, media reports said.

According to a Moneycontrol report, responding to a query from Bommanahalli MLA M Satish Reddy in the state assembly, Shivakumar confirmed, "The Yellow Line (19.1 km) from RV Road to Bommasandra will be opened for public service by May 2025."
