Kolkata/IBNS, Dec. 3 -- Kolkata North has emerged as the constituency with the highest number of 'deceased voters' as the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive is set to enter the final week in West Bengal like 11 other states, media reports said.
Kolkata North is followed by Kolkata South where 54,985 'deceased voters' have been identified so far.
About 45 lakh electors that also include the deceased haven't received the enumeration form till Tuesday.
Meanwhile in a significant correction, the ECI on Tuesday revised its earlier figure of 2,280 West Bengal polling booths-where enumeration forms indicated no voter had died or shifted in the last 20 years-to 480, according to media reports.
