Mumbai/IBNS, Jan. 14 -- With the country celebrating major harvest festivals such as Makar Sankranti, Lohri, Pongal and Bihu on January 14 and 15, many people are checking whether bank services will be available during these days.

According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, banks will remain closed in several states on January 14 and 15 due to these regional festivals.
